The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a hassle-free process for exchanging ₹ 2,000 notes.

No form or requisition slip is required for the exchange or deposit of ₹ 2,000 notes, and Identity documents also not required.

Individuals can exchange or deposit ₹ 2,000 notes up to a total value of ₹ 20,000 at one time.

There is no restriction on the number of times a person can exchange ₹ 2,000 rupee notes in a day.
